Welcome

We are a resident led group afiliated to the Eastern Road area Partnership (ERP)

Hello.
My name is Tony Mundy I am Chair of the Kemptown Community Safety Action Group.
The group meets every two months at Hampshire Lodge, Hampshire Court - off Lavender Street. The Kemptown Community Safety Action Group was previously known as the Eastern Road Community Safety Action Group, and has changed its name along with expanding its area of interest. The groups area now cuts across the Queens Park, East Brighton and Rottingdean Coastal wards, and its area of interest is bounded by Upper Rock Gardens in the west, Eastern Road, Church Place and Bristol Gardens to the north. Boundary Road to the east and the seafront between the Marina and Bedford Street and Upper St James St/St James St between Bedford St and Upper Rock Gardens to the south.
Meetings are in-formal but formative and attended by local residents, ward councillors, Sussex Police, council and social housing officers, Environment Improvement Team, Communities Against drugs, Crime Reduction Initiatives, Victim Support, Crimestoppers, community participation officer, Partnership Community Safety Team, scheme managers, RISE (formerly known as Women’s Refuge), domestic violence outreach worker, Neighbourhood Warden, St Anne's project and Neighbourhood Management. Meetings are chaired by me Tony Mundy. Individual residents are welcome to attend, alongside anyone representing an organisation working on community safety issues in the Kemptown area.
KCSAG meetings for 2010 all meetings at Hampshire Lodge 2pm-4pm. Sept 16th and Nov 18th.
